From Koh Lanta, it took 6 hours by minibus across the country, to the other side of Surat Thani - the minivan was small, cramped, fully loaded, and very hot... 🥵 Then we continued by ferry, another 2.5 hours to Koh Phangan. All in all, we were on the road from sunrise to sunset 🥲
Of course, it was another exhausting day, but in the end, everything was fine again after the first beer and a quick jump in the pool. 😬🙏
Our accommodations could not be more different at the moment, the girls sleep in a hostel in a mixed dormitory with 16 beds and we in a bungalow with our own pool.
We were on the scooter a lot again and visited some beaches & waterfalls. However, there is only a little water trickling in the waterfalls because, according to our host, it has not rained here for 2 months.
Last night we were at the Panthip Market - a large food court. So much incredibly delicious food at a small price. We would have liked to try everything, but at some point, the stomach is full 🤭 For about 5€, the two of us tried 5 different small things. Pad Thai costs, for example, 60 Baht here, which is equivalent to €1.62.
You can't describe how hot it is here, even in the evening. But a humidity of 75% and a perceived temperature of 36 degrees might give you a little idea 😂
