The night was simply relaxing and quiet, the morning was sunny and warm. So we got ready to first take the bus and then the train to get to Bergen. A couple kindly gave us their ticket, as they no longer needed it. Once in Bergen, we first visited the fish market and then the old town.
It was truly beautiful and impressive there. In the old town, we were looking for a really nice, non-itchy Norwegian sweater, and there were plenty of them. But we quickly realized that there was nothing for us under 150-200 euros. We are starting to notice how expensive it really is here, as a fish sandwich can easily cost 12 euros.
However, the fish sandwich was still very delicious, but we decided to pass on the Norwegian sweater. Bergen is truly a very beautiful and unique city, and on our way through the streets, we found a small traveler's store where many young people and backpackers were sitting. The store was set up more like an apartment. There was a small café in the front where you could enjoy coffee comfortably amidst many pillows. In the middle of the store, everything a traveler needs was sold, and in the back there was a small couch area to rest.
Around 5:30 PM, we made our way back to the campsite to peacefully end the evening in our tent by the lake.
Tomorrow we will continue towards Fjaerland. There, we will camp in the wild again and enjoy the incredible nature.
See you tomorrow :)
