Off to Seward

Today we made our way from Talkeetna to Seward, from where our ship will depart on Sunday evening.

First, we drove to Anchorage airport, where we had to return our car. From Anchorage, we continued by bus. Since there was an accident on the highway and the road was closed, the bus stopped at the Diamond shopping center for an hour. There is only one road to Seward, and if it's closed, nothing can move.

The next stop was at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. There we were able to visit the park and its residents for an hour, which was really interesting.

We arrived in Seward at 6 pm. Thankfully, a shuttle service came right away to take us to the hotel, or rather motel.

After a really delicious meal, we have to spend the night in separate beds here, as we don't have a double bed, but two large single beds.
