We had imagined our departure from Koh Chang a little differently. We actually wanted to have a delicious breakfast - but we overslept again 😂 so we managed to be ready in time for pickup.
We took the pickup to the pier and from there took the speed catamaran to Koh Kood.
Kian completely slept through the trip and only woke up on Koh Kood. 1.5 hours baby-free for Siar and me 😃
We will move once on Koh Kood. First we stay in a homestay on Ao Tapao Beach for 3 nights. We were very lucky when we got there. Instead of waiting at 2 p.m., we were able to go straight to our bungalow at 11 a.m. and didn't have to bridge the time somehow.
The bungalow is simple (as expected for €18 a night) but very clean and quiet. It's only a few minutes walk to the beach.
We headed straight there. And what can I say - it looks like it does on a postcard or those holiday brochures. Insanely beautiful - paradise.
We then had a big lunch (since breakfast had to be skipped). Afterwards, all three of us were so tired that we closed our eyes on the beach for two hours. And at the end of this wonderful day there was a swim in the sea. The water is so clear - definitely one of the most beautiful we have seen so far.
We then went to a small restaurant in the village for dinner. Fried Rice Chicken + Thai Omelette for Siar and Fried Rice Vegetable for me = €2.50. And it was not only cheap, but also incredibly tasty.
Then it should go to bed. By the way, we have our own house gecko here. We haven't seen him yet, but we've heard him several times 😂
Good thing, it should eat away the mosquitoes and other creepy crawlies and protect us.
