Today we had to bring a personal item and tell a short story about it. I brought my calendar because I never leave the house without it and told a little bit about it. Then we did a little exercise. We had to walk around the room with a piece of paper and a pen. When the professor called 'Stop', we had to stand still, look into the eyes of the person in front of us, and draw them without looking at the paper. Afterwards, we had to write a compliment and our name on it. It was funny what came out of it :-D
Afterwards, we drove to Aabenraa in three cars and a minibus, where we had to register in Denmark. Since we could prepare everything in advance, we were finished within half an hour and could explore the city a bit. Because there was not enough space for all students on the way back, a few of us (including me) had to take the public bus back to Haderslev. But that was not a problem at all - besides, the university paid for it :-)
After a short warm-up at home - oh yeah, I haven't even talked about the weather yet. It's terribly cold here, sometimes windy, sometimes rainy, sometimes snowy and sometimes a little bit sunny. It can change completely within a few minutes, so you really have to be prepared for everything. But back to warming up at home :-) - we walked through the city of Haderslev with a buddy and she showed us some shops and sights. Then we went home and got ready for the party in the evening.
ERASMUS WELCOME PARTY
The party was organized by the ESN people here in Haderslev and it was really fun. At the beginning, we played games (Never have I ever; Beer pong; Flip competition) and then we could socialize. There were also some Danish students present, with whom we got in touch. A beer there costs 10 DKK, which is just a little more than one euro. On the one hand, it's good, on the other hand, it's not so good for my liver, haha. There is also a 'drink of the day' every week, which also costs only 10 DKK; so it's really cheap (-:
We also played table football and after closing time (midnight) we went to the Tribunen, a bar in town. There we had some more drinks, danced, and met other people :-)
Off to the weekend!
