Longyearbyen 16-23 May 2022/20 May

After a peaceful night and a hearty breakfast, with observations of Arctic foxes, there will be a landing at 10 o'clock with Zodiac boats in the beautiful Magdalene, the most historic place in Spitsbergen. It is a very special place with lots of peace and mountains that we were able to enjoy in the beautiful sunshine. After that, we will continue to Björnhamna, a landing with Zodjak boats to a trapper's hut, which is very old and well preserved. Then we go through amazing snow mountains and excellent ice formations to the northernmost point 80 C North, there is no more further, it's all pack ice up to the North Pole, simply impressive. On the pack ice we sighted walruses and beautiful seals. We return through amazing ice formations, wonderful snow mountains for dinner, followed by a restless night with several waves.
