We should have a burst of courage much more often!

After six months in Germany, the wanderlust was so big that I mustered the courage to travel alone. Until departure, I wasn't sure what I was actually doing here. Am I maybe too organized for this? Will I find connection? Will my lack of orientation skills be enough to always reach my destination?

And where do these self-doubts suddenly come from?

Two long flights later, with African SIM card and enough cash in my luggage, I took the shuttle to the first accommodation from where I will go to Kruger National Park tomorrow. While I process the last few hours and realize where I am and what is coming my way, it is clear to me... it was the best decision I could have made for myself and my personality.

I have four weeks ahead of me with myself, a new culture, a breathtaking landscape, and fascinating wildlife. Four weeks in South Africa!!!!
