Auf Wiedersehen

When we saw the next morning that the breakfast included in the price was more expensive than a la carte, we were furious. Our situation was shamelessly exploited, so we were glad to leave the facility.

We booked an apartment at a different beach, which was also much nicer. Although it was labeled as a party beach, it was important to us to have a selection of restaurants. And we should get that at Candolimbeach. Luckily, the information claimed by some blogs did not turn out to be true. There are many, many restaurants here, but no parties. Although we observe that Indians like to drink alcohol a lot. Since they start drinking in the morning, they are probably too tired to party in the evening.

Our apartment is spacious and reasonably clean, but far from something to feel comfortable in, and that's what we wanted in Goa. We wanted to relax so badly. So we started looking for a nice accommodation through the usual internet portals. We spent a lot of time on it, too much! But we couldn't find anything. That was new to us so far. Therefore, we decided to walk down the street the next day and inquire directly at hotels.

One night is usually enough. But we had to book another night because we needed the time to find a new one. So we made the best of it. We taught the children and enjoyed a nice meal.

Since we finished reading the fourth volume of Harry Potter, we watched the movie based on the book in the evening. We have already done that with the previous parts as well. And for us parents, it's always very funny to listen to the kids' comments on what was left out or invented in the film.
