Day 20 - Rain in Whanganui

The day was uneventful, it rained all day.

After breakfast, I took advantage of a brief break in the rain to go into town. Once there, I continued to deal with the rain. I went to the tourist information center to recharge my external battery and plan my next steps in my journey through New Zealand. Tomorrow, I will take the bus to Wellington and head to the only campground located in the backyard of a backpacker hostel. I was relieved when this dreary day cleared up a bit in the early evening, allowing me to ride the 9 kilometers to the campground fairly dry.

Tomorrow morning, the alarm will ring again at half past six, as the bus departs at a quarter to 8 on the other side of the city.
