A new day with sunshine and blue sky awaited us! ☀️
After breakfast, we drove back to Kelowna to the Orchard Park Shopping Mall. According to the guidebook, it was the number 1 shopping destination. Besides Best Buy, Sport Chek, Gap, American Eagle Outfitters, and Roots, there were also plenty of small shops. The girls bought a t-shirt, CD, and poster, and even Berni found something 😝. I, on the other hand, was modest and didn't buy anything. Vancouver is still ahead... 😊
Jill really wanted to go to a Walmart, so we made a little detour. On the outskirts of the large parking lot, there were actually a few motorhomes that had settled here. For us, it would be a last resort if we couldn't find a campground 😏. The Walmart was so big that you could almost get lost in it. Fortunately, we all found each other again and could continue our journey.
We tried our luck and looked for a parking spot in Kelowna near the lakeshore. No luck! With such a huge motorhome on a Sunday, it was simply impossible!
So in the late afternoon, we returned to Peachland. In front of the "Gutshaus" (they didn't let us in with the teenagers), we had delicious burgers and pizza.
The promenade was bustling with visitors, and many people were swimming. Peachland is truly a very beautiful place right by the lake!
Back at the campground, we took a little nap. Berni and Lisa caught a cold yesterday and weren't feeling well.
Later, we treated ourselves to some cookies and cream ice cream 🍨 to celebrate Sunday. Delightful 😝!
