We especially liked the second, middle finger, Sithonia. There is a very wooded, mountainous hinterland and beautiful bays.
We stayed at a large and lively campsite at first. After the many quiet places, this crowd seemed really strange to us. There are mainly Bulgarian and Romanian families here, actually very peaceful, it's a bit like an allotment feeling. Great for the boys as they found friends and could play extensively again. That's why we stayed here for a total of 5 nights.
We were somewhat ashamed by our Hungarian neighbors, whom we initially laughed at because of their "pettiness", when the woman arrived with a huge plate of palatschinken, cooked especially for us, because she thinks our family is great. It teaches us once again to simply have no prejudices and to meet everyone openly and friendly.
After these vacation days, we continued camping for two nights. In Sarti and Toroni, two villages in the south of Sithonia. Along the way, we saw and swam in many beautiful bays. We enjoyed the last two days on the west coast of Sithonia, in Neo Marmara on a small terrace campsite.
