The little monster is untamable!

01.-07.06.2019

01.06.2019: The children were not there and the weather was not cooperating either. Plenty of time to think about the world and life.

02.06.2019: I borrowed the family's bike. It had a lock with a code on it. I forgot the code, so I asked for it. No one really knew it anymore. It should have been open, but I changed it because I thought I knew the code. Oops! Now it won't open because of me... Luckily, there was another one.

Then we went to a nearby park where I went hiking. In the evening, I took the dog for a walk.

03.06.2019: The last night was not restful either. The more bored you are, the more you ponder about this and that and can't find peace. In the afternoon, we went to the beach. I was one of the few who actually went into the water, which is very cold right now. I also finished reading the book 'The Café at the Edge of the World' that I found at the hostel in Laos and also have at home.

That made me thoughtful again in the evening. Why have I been in Perth for over two months now? What were the reasons for staying here for so long without having a job? What kept me from going somewhere else where there are better job opportunities?

One reason was the bank card, which took five weeks. Then I relied on others to check my resume and did not set a deadline. So I waited and waited. Then I started applying. But nothing really came out of it. Then I found the family I am currently with. Unpaid, but at least something. And it took another two weeks before that started. At least now I am clear about the factors that kept me in Perth for so long.

04.06.2019: Jumping on the trampoline and playing Frisbee in the evening. We were a great team and beat everyone. This community is just awesome! I love it! It's the first team sport that suits me.

05.06.2019: The children came back from their father in the evening. The mother took the car away. The little 4-year-old wanted to test me again and ran along the streets. I'm supposed to leave him alone and don't have to look after him. Yes, I will just let you wander around the streets alone in the dark. Sure. I will certainly get yelled at for that. Screaming here and there. A neighbor came, who knew him and calmed him down. Eventually, he walked back to the house.

There he still wanted to escape through the window. At least his slightly older brother was there, who got along with him better. These little nerve destroyers.

06.06.2019: Already preparing lunch boxes for the children at 7 o'clock. With what? What do the children want? I was overwhelmed. Eventually, I brought the children to school. With a delay. The older sister came in the afternoon. She played with both of them. Some free time for me.

07.06.2019: The monster is untamable. Showered in the morning and the little one says you stink disgustingly. Nice response to good morning. Prepared the kitchen, as guests came for cooking in the afternoon. After that, I helped clean up again. In the evening, we watched a movie together.
