Wood Tag 1

After the first night in Madeira and a hearty breakfast, for some the first meal since Gran Canaria, we took the yellow line to explore Funchal. Here we tried to get to the glass viewing point. We saw it but only had 20 minutes there. Funchal is really built into the mountain and so the tour is a little adventure here too. The bus there is a capricious bus, which could prove to be a problem for some people later on.

The flowers are amazing, there are lots of banana plants.

After a refreshment on the ship, a few of us explored Funchal's small streets on foot and discovered two small, beautiful gardens.
