There's not much to say about the last two days.
The flight from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat was unspectacular. However, the airport in Nakhon Si Thammarat is only 2 months old. And you notice that too. There is only a switch for onward journeys. You don't have to search too hard. For 600 baht we went directly to the accommodation (instead of a transfer organized by the hotel for 1,800 baht).
There was an upgrade at Le Petit Saint Tropez, sometimes you can get lucky. It's a small, cute "hotel" right by the sea with 8 or 9 rooms. Thanks to Lena and Asti for the recommendation. We are fully looked after, but there is no real breakfast. The restaurant opens at 12. So the next “morning” (around 11:00 a.m.) we had a short walk.
What's interesting is that there's a lot of European food available around here. And it's actually very tasty. So on the first evening I had a smoked salmon and egg wrap and the next morning I had an English breakfast. (I found that you can also have Pad Thai breakfast around 1130)
Otherwise, there is a lot of idleness at the moment and that too has to be learned. We were finally able to devote ourselves to reading a book in peace or trying to learn Thai (Egg).
In the evening we went on a scooter to explore the area and at the end we had wonderful seafood 🦞🐙🦑🦐 in a restaurant that Egg found.
That's it up to this point. Tomorrow we might go to the market or to waterfalls 🏞️ but definitely not to any caves 🦇
