Goodbye is joyful

Last Friday I stayed with a Warmshowers hostess in Solothurn for the second time - with the lovely and impressive Alena. A real strong woman who shocked me a little when she told me she was 50 years old and had 4 children.

Otherwise, in the past few days in Solothurn, Bern and Fribourg, there has been a reunion after another with many friends, old colleagues, and roommates. On Monday, I was invited for an interview with my desired employer in Bern, where I would like to do an internship starting in the fall. I completely quit my old job as an SAP consultant and project manager last year and embarked on new paths, as most of you already know. The interview went really well and my first impression of the company was confirmed. However, since I would be the first intern at the Bern location and they are not yet sure if they have the resources to supervise me, I still have to wait a little and hope that it works out. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

On Tuesday, I couldn't resist and I stopped by my former employer "SCOTT". I don't regret quitting, but it is always a joy to meet my old colleagues again, whom I hope to see regularly again if the internship in Bern works out.
