Koh Phi Phi / Krabi 16.12.

Today we went from Koh Phi Phi to Krabi to Railay Beach, where we will spend the next five days.

But before we set off there, we definitely wanted to visit the viewpoint of Koh Phi Phi again. Looking back, we didn't choose the best day for this as it was extremely hot and the way up was very steep. Exhausted and sweating, we made it after a while and were rewarded for our efforts with a view over Koh Phi Phi.

After a short break, we headed back downhill to pick up our luggage at the hotel for the onward journey. Luckily, our luggage was brought to the pier in a cart by a hotel employee, so we didn't have to carry it the 15-minute walk in the heat.

At around 1 p.m. we took a 45-minute speedboat ride to Railay Beach in Krabi. When we arrived at the hotel, we first explored the complex and the small streets of Railay. There, similar to Phuket and Phi Phi, there were many small souvenir shops, bars/restaurants and supermarkets.

We spent the rest of the day on the beach and watched a fantastic sunset in the evening. Later we went to a small restaurant where the first day at Railay Beach ended.
