Good Morning,

Yip, I'm still on the road in case anyone's wondering since I haven't written anything in a while. I actually had leisure stress 😂

From Barcelona I set off to where actually (I have to take a quick look). Exactly to Carcassonne in France. I wanted to look at a beautiful medieval fortress. Parking was quickly found and about a 10 minute walk to the fortress. Since you can't take the hop-on bus there, I take the tourist train and it goes around the fortress at 5 km/h. There were various shops and restaurants within the fortress. After seeing everything there, I headed to the nearby campsite. To continue on to Pond Du Gard the next morning. I was finally able to sleep through the night again without thunderstorms or rain.

The next morning I set off for the next destination. I immediately found a great parking space there too and after a short walk the three-story bridge was in front of me.

Wow, wow, wow. I then went down to the “beach” over what felt like 100 steps and then I stood in front of the small stream with a view of the bridge. Take off your clothes and get into the clear water. It felt like it was only 18 degrees, but it was very refreshing. Since I had my cell phone in the water, I was able to take cool pictures and show Cindy everything via video call.

Later I set off from there to the next overnight destination, Avignon.
