It's been a while, but I was honestly too tired to do anything :D My Saturday got off to an exciting start, I actually wanted to spend the day relaxing and wandering around the city. During lunch my hostel texted me because I forgot that I had to check out. So I went back quickly and spent the next 6 (!) hours hanging on the power in the lobby and waiting for my night bus. I then drove to Guatemala City, where we had to wait an hour at a terminal for the next bus to Flores. I'm also glad that I always find someone who is just as lost somewhere and waiting for something :D He came shortly before 10, then we were blessed for 15 minutes (!!!!!) and then luckily the guy is I got out again and tried, more or less successfully, to sleep throughout the journey. We were in Flores at 7 in the morning. Then I waited another 6 hours in the lobby for my room and was finally able to take a shower and lie on a bed by myself. Beste. Flores itself was pretty cute, there wasn't a lot going on because everyone actually only uses the city as a starting point for tours in the area. One day I rented a SUP and rode it across the lake to a rope swing, where I fell badly on the water twice and was still sore in my muscles three days later. But hey, at least there was a vegan restaurant :D
