After the running at the Plitvice Lakes, we deserved some relaxation in the end: Camping Krk Premium Resort ***** 😍.
We had reserved a spot in the front row weeks ago. We know the place from before, when it was still a nudist beach. A few years ago, it was redesigned into a (unfortunately textile) luxury resort. Since then, the prices have become luxury too.
Thanks to ACSI, we now pay about 33 € per night in the off-season (including a surcharge for the front row). In the high season, we would have paid more than 3 times as much 😳😳😳 (7.10 € per cat alone - they're crazy 🤑). Nevertheless, it is always well-visited, so without a reservation, it is difficult to get a good spot.
I immediately noticed the new "gazebos" at the beach, comfortable beach beds with curtains that can be rented for 80 Kuna (about 11 €) per day. Of course, I immediately laid in it the next morning 😉? Wonderful!! The following days we spent chilling, reading (my 8th book!) and walking/hiking. Gradually, it became too cold for the beach and swimming (between 20-22 degrees).
We naturally paid a visit to the beautiful city of Krk again. On Sunday, dear acquaintances from France came spontaneously because the weather there got worse (long live the mobility of motorhomes 🤣), so we also had someone to chat and sit together with.
So our last week in Croatia quickly passed. It was beautiful and made our vacation "complete". But in the end, I was mostly looking forward to going home.
