Thanks to the rest day in Orikum, I was spared from the rain, but it was still very windy on the way to the pass. Well nourished from breakfast with Genti, I tackled the climb of about 1000 meters in altitude. Especially near the summit of Cika, it was windy, and the gradient, sometimes reaching 15%, made me push occasionally. Nevertheless, I arrived at the highest point in time for lunch and could look forward to the descent from there. What I didn't expect were the many short but steep climbs after the pass, which affected my mood a bit. Albania is a beautiful and worth seeing country, but as a cyclist, you need to know what you're getting into!
After almost 75 kilometers, I wanted to head to Qeparo, according to Google and Komoot, there are two campsites near the beach. Unfortunately, neither of them turned out to be real, so I simply set up my tent in the dark on a meadow on the beach promenade. I don't think anyone will mind!
