Central Park and Brooklyn Bridge

There's not much need to talk about Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge. Both places are well-known from movies and TV shows.

I already visited the Brooklyn Bridge on Thursday.

The aim of my walk through the park on Sunday was Strawberry Fields, the place where John Lennon was murdered. Alongside a sales stand for Peace buttons, a young singer with her guitar put the visitors in the right mood. At the latest when she started singing 'Imagine', everyone's heart felt heavy with melancholy, as if they were hearing the song for the very first time. Opposite me sat an older gentleman, who looked so lost in thought, I could swear his eyes shimmered with moisture. Imagine ...!

In the evening, I headed to Chinatown. I had pizza for dinner!
