8. Dream tour day

Today Viareggio - off to the Mediterranean Sea. Sun, beach, sand under the feet, warm wind in March - heavenly for a North German. 😁 Only downside: the city is full of young people, thousands of them have come by train and populate the main beach. So quickly get away from the danger zone of the coronavirus. 🤦‍♀️

Another difficulty: today on Monday almost all restaurants are closed or only open at 8:00, a bit too late for me. So I'll buy some groceries at Conad and eat in my room in my new accommodation. But first, a delicacy from the Storico Pasticceria in Via Amerigo Vespucci, the most delicious cakes and a wonderful Caffe Latte for 3.90!

Tomorrow I'm going hiking in the Cinque Terre National Park - I'm really looking forward to the villages high above the sea.
