So, to bridge the waiting time until Bali, I will describe a travel destination that has been my - so to speak - second home for many years. The North Sea!
Every year in summer, I go there with my family and our dog Coco to visit family and friends and of course to go to the beach!
It is always beautiful there, just because the climate there is completely different from here in the south of Germany. Even in summer, it is not scorching hot, there is always a gentle breeze.
Our Golden Retriever, who does not like the heat at all, enjoys the breeze, the Wadden Sea and the huge space to run around.
So if you have always been attracted to the North Sea and don't always want to go to the beaches in Southern France and Spain that are crowded with sunbathing people, then the North Sea is definitely a real alternative!
I can especially recommend Sankt Peter-Ording to you, a beautiful large beach and - for the sweet tooths among you - delicious, beautifully decorated ice cream in the village center!
I'm telling you, it's worth it, especially if you also make a detour to Sylt! Pure island feeling!!!
Unfortunately, I only found pictures from last year, when it was not yet midsummer and therefore quite chilly, but in August up there, the bathing season with 27/30 degrees is super pleasant!!!
Windy greetings,
Lara
