Dubrovnik is known for its characteristic Old Town, completely surrounded by a massive stone wall completed in the 16th century.
That was exactly my goal, you can walk the entire city wall.
At 6:00, I went to the still empty Old Town with some other women (the poor must definitely work). A short walk through the limestone paved streets and I was already at the old harbor. A little further, some people were already in the sea. The Old Town has its own little beach, really cute. When I discovered the entrance gate to the city wall, I wanted to start right away. But think again, it opens at 8:00 and costs almost 30 euros. Okay, first another coffee and then spend the money. But lucky me, he miscalculated, a walk on the almost empty city wall for half the price. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Old Town surrounded by the coast and cliffs.
There are also many apartments with small rooftop terraces and Mediterranean flower decorations. But apparently, some people live here as well. In these narrow streets. It has its charm.
Refresh myself quickly at the beach (unfortunately only feet, I didn't bring my bathing suit). Then it was time to leave.
Crowds of people poured into the beautiful Old Town.
Thank you for letting me experience it differently. Just as the saying goes: The early bird catches the worm.
