Let's go to Ninh Binh, 15.02.2020 (Day 14)

Today we are leaving Hanoi towards the south. Our next stop is the small town of Ninh Binh.

After a very quiet night (the windows seem to be really well soundproofed) we take a Grab taxi to the train station in Hanoi.

Today we are sitting in the train that goes through the narrow house canyon 😊

After having a delicious baguette for 70 cents at a café across from the train station, we depart promptly at 2:25 PM - heading towards Ninh Binh.

The nearly 3 hours on the train fly by and we arrive in Ninh Binh shortly before 5 PM.

Once again we book a taxi through the Grab app which takes us to our very beautiful accommodation, located in the middle of the limestone cliffs.

Wow, we have arrived in paradise. The only sounds you can hear here are one or two dogs and in the distance, we assume, a few big toads.

After the 3 days in Hanoi, we really appreciate this peace and enjoy the time to the fullest.

We will definitely avoid the next big cities on our trip.

Our accommodation this time (as a surprise for Steven's birthday) is a private bungalow - with an open-air bathroom 😂

After a delicious dinner prepared by the owners themselves, we fall tired into our bed!
