Today's destination: Hobbiton!
For two hours we will feel like hobbits in the Shire. Particularly impressive facts about the shooting of the Hobbit trilogy and The Lord of the Rings movies:
* The local sheep are not very happy with the director; they had to leave the land and make way for over 1000 sheep flown in from the South Island
* For 3 days, the leaves of an artificial tree had to be individually recolored as they did not quite meet the director's expectations (ps: the tree is shown for a total of 8 seconds in the film)
* In one scene, a sunset is shown. Since the location is oriented towards the east, the sunrise was filmed and played backwards. Because now even passing birds flew backwards, they had to be retouched.
