The view from the camper van is great, but the cicadas and the smell of the toilet outside are not, so we're leaving without breakfast.
The road is getting even more amazing: first it leads through deserted areas, then it runs right along the coast. Wild beaches and high waves, typical for the West Coast here.
At the 'Pancake Rocks' we are not the only ones, but this detour is still worth it. The timing is perfect: the tide makes the waves crash against the rocks, shooting fountains through the 'Blow Holes' and creating a rainbow in the air. A fantastic spectacle!
The chosen campsite is quite old and somewhat special (shower cabins in the living room-like common room), but cheap and right by the sea. We enjoy the view and have dinner at sunset: it couldn't be better!
