30. Sivas (Turkey)

The first stage of the secret surprise mission is longer than expected! We wait alone at the border with Turkey for 3 hours - apparently there are opening hours and the first hour nothing happens at all! We also have to pay a fine for the first time because the Georgian car insurance is not included in the green insurance card!

We make a short detour to Rize to collect Katha's chair that we forgot on the terrace back then:)

So we are on the road for a total of 12 hours, but the drive is still indescribably great.

Shortly after Trabzon - across Turkey - we can't stop being amazed! Breathtaking landscapes await us!

If we started in Batumi with autumn temperatures and rain, we arrive in Sivas with wintry 4°C - Sivas is currently the coldest place in Turkey, where we luckily only stay for one night and then head towards summer!

Finally, we are quite excited about whether our surprise will work out!
