Shoshone Falls

On Tuesday we were in Twin Falls at the Shoshone Falls. We used the first rain of our trip to take a 2-hour hike to the ramp of Evil Knievel and back. He tried to jump over the canyon with a motorcycle and the ramp is still there today. But it's just a big hill.

The whole canyon and the bridge are breathtaking, of course. When we were back at the bridge, we even saw some base jumpers jump from the bridge.

Afterwards, we drove to the Shoshone Falls by car, which we could already see from a distance during the hike.

After all the nature stuff, Marcel finally wanted to see an American hardware store. (Comment Marcel: Mostly crap)

And because it was so nice, we also went to an outdoor sports store and admired all the guns.

In the evening, we continued driving to Rexburg. We are now staying for 2 nights in a fantastic apartment here.

Here, we tried to buy gin. Until we found a store that offered alcohol and until we got there, it was 2 minutes past 9 and you could only buy alcohol there until 9. The disappointment was great.
