Post 1: Travel Route

Welcome to my first blog post. As you know, I will be going on a longer trip and I would like to give you a possibility to participate. Therefore, I will present some pictures and stories on this page. I’m looking forward to your comments ;). 

On the map you can see all the destinations which I will visit in the next three months. My flight route is:
Frankfurt (Germany) - Saskatoon (Canada) – Vancouver (Canada) – Auckland (New Zealand) ... Christchurch (New Zealand) – Sydney (Australia) – Singapore – Frankfurt (Germany)

Nevertheless, I will spend most of my time in New Zealand. Why New Zealand?

· First and most important: the natural beauty of the country. One third of the country is covered with National Park;

· No snakes (contrary to Australia): There have never been native snake populations :) ;

· Low population density but the country has the highest density of sheep per unit area in the world;

· Great walks, mountains, beaches, lakes, hot springs, hobbits and much more.  

Starting from the North Island I am planning on seeing both Island within 10 weeks. So far, I’m thinking of buying a campervan which offers me the possibility to sleep and stop wherever I want to. But you never know …
