If you're worried about what we're eating and drinking all the time, we've put together some photos for you. That's right, we're not starving and we don't have to thirst. :-)
In Hanoi, we took part in a street food tour to get to know the super fine Vietnamese cuisine better and it looks like this:
1. Phở gà trộn: Dry chicken noodles
2. Phở cuốn: Rolling noodle & Nem cua be: Sea crab spring rolls
3. Bánh cuốn : Steamed rice paper rolled with pork and mushroom
4. Nộm bò khô: Papaya salad with beef jerky
5. Bún chả: Rice vermicelli with grilled pork and light fish sauce
6. Cá cuộn thịt: Fried fish wrapping with pork, mushroom
7. Bún cá trộn: Mixing fried fish with noodle
8. Kem xôi: Ice cream with green sticky rice
9. Sữa chua nếp cẩm: Black sticky rice yogurt
10. Cà phê trứng: Hot egg coffee
After such a tour, you can't sleep anymore because you're completely overeaten. :-)
So far, the food in Thailand and Vietnam has tasted the best to us, in case you're wondering. But in general, the food in Asia is very good (definitely better than back in South America!).
We will definitely write about our other experiences in Vietnam soon (by the way, we're currently in Hoi-An). The plan for the next few days is to somehow return to Laos via Kon Tum and if that fails, we'll probably go to the beach in South Vietnam!
