We have spent 4 nights in Dornoch. During the day, we dug at the beach, used the newly acquired kite, used the playground at the campsite, and searched for the most delicious café.
We had actually counted on the branch of Cocoa Mountain. We were familiar with it from Durness. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to eat inside 35 minutes before closing time, which was a bit disappointing.
The next few days, we found Milk & Honey to be a better option.
At noon, fighter jets flew their training rounds on 2 days because there will be an airshow in Southern England on the weekend.
The last night was unfortunately spoiled a bit by the neighbors who were quite loud until almost midnight. Other than that, the place was very nice and we could reach everything on foot.
With temperatures as low as 9 degrees last night, it is still a bit chilly.
It was funny that this morning, 2 smaller dogs followed Monique everywhere.
Right now, I am on the ferry heading towards the pizzeria. They also build oil platforms and offshore wind turbines here.
