A visit to Hobbit Land was at the top of my must-do list in New Zealand.
The film set is beautiful and in a picturesque setting.
Unfortunately, it is very crowded during the peak travel season and buses run every ten minutes to the film set for tours.
During a two-hour tour, we walked through the Hobbit village, took photos, visited the small, intricately built houses, and had a beer at the "Green Dragon".
Despite the crowds and the rushed tour guide, it was worth the trip as it is truly unique.
