We're still on the road ๐Ÿ˜„

... but we've been staying with friends for a week now and haven't done much.

Most important event: the camper is at the harbor, cleared by customs, it's driving at least short distances without problems and we've packed it to the top with all our stuff and shopping๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

We spent the last week with Sonali, Norbert, Ayan, and Sonali's mother. It was wonderful living in Sonali and Norbert's really big house in Chester Springs near Philadelphia. The day consisted of chatting with Norbert, watching movies with Sonali, and playing with Ayan. Wonderful ๐Ÿ˜„

We also went to a few shopping centers, but only Sandra went on a shopping spree. She won't need to buy jeans for the next 10 years ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘–๐Ÿ‘– My beloved Timberland shoes are no longer available, my suitcase remains empty ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ‘ž

We also took a trip to the park with Ayan. At Valley Forge, we watched a short film about the harsh conditions the soldiers had to endure during the winter of 1777/78. For every soldier who died in battle, there were 10 who died from diseases and epidemics.

Thanks to the military training of Prussian officer von Steuben, the farmer boys became soldiers who were victorious in the American Revolutionary War.
