Highland Games 🥁🪵🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Another highlight ✨ We were lucky that there were Highland Games taking place along our route today.

After refilling our water, we continued towards the action. As soon as we got out of the car, we were in the middle of it. Many people and rides around us and a music group with bagpipes greeted us. The sun was also shining ☀️

We found a spot and enjoyed the atmosphere and the many competitions with french fries and Scottish donuts. In addition to cycling and running competitions (sprint, laps, and hill run), there are fortunately the games we came for: ball and log throwing in kilts, as well as dance competitions in traditional costumes. We finally enjoyed all of this in summer temperatures.

Afterwards, we completed the necessary shopping and treated ourselves to our outdoor shower at the parking spot. Now it's time for food and relaxation. Good night 💤
