Sanibel 21 - 22 July

Today we are heading to Sanibel.
But first we treat ourselves to breakfast at Subways:
A flatbread with scrambled eggs, bacon, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles, and sweet onion sauce.
And of course with coffee (Hazelnut Coffee for Marie).
After a juicy toll fee ($6), we reach our hotel after a short drive:

Then we get the beach chairs and an umbrella (which only works on the 3rd try) and off to the beach:

Beautiful white sandy beach covered with seashells.

Dark clouds are approaching around 5:00 p.m.

Rainer jogs back to the car (this time we didn't want to risk a parking ticket) and brings Marie back to the hotel just in time before it starts raining.


Dinner at the Lazy Flamingo and then chill at the motel.

Marie goes for long walks on the beach.

Dinner at an Italian restaurant is once again a disappointment - we will never eat Italian in the USA again.
