Berlin, Berlin, we were in Berlin. And what happened in Berlin stays in Berlin. Because what is not broadcasted in the news, you won't hear from me; not here.
Yesterday, we ventured into the East, the real one, to Poland. After all, I have family roots there. My maternal great-grandfather was born in Katowice, and my mother's maiden name is Gatzka, which means 'duck' in Polish. I used to be called that too, but that's another story.
First stop Szczecin - try pronouncing that in Polish. An extremely ugly city. Here, the car still has priority. The charming center consists of an intersection of a four-lane and a six-lane road. I spare you the photos.
I couldn't find out what 'Obiady Domowe' means quickly. However, home-cooked meals suggest the menu.
The whole thing twice for a total of 10 euros. What can I say, we didn't finish it. And yes Severin, everything tastes like dill.
There are plenty of churches, but they are not really beautiful here.
You can't say that people here don't take care of their houses, although sometimes very selectively.
After an endless drive, we finally arrived at the campsite in Gdansk. It was already dark, so there isn't much to tell from here yet.
