We made short stops in Stokmarknes, Sortland, and Risoyhamn during the night, and this morning we arrived in Harstad, which belongs to Troms og Finnmark County. The Trondenes Evangelical Lutheran Church, located about 3 kilometers north of Harstad (visible from the ship), is the northernmost medieval stone church in the world. It was built between the 13th and 15th centuries, and the exact construction time is unknown. We continue towards Finnsnes through beautiful winter landscapes to Tromso. Tromso is the largest city north of the Arctic Circle, with approximately 75,000 inhabitants. It offers many attractions including Polaria, the Polar Museum which provides information about famous polar expeditions, the Stornstein viewpoint which can be reached on foot or by the Fjellheisen cable car. The impressive Arctic Cathedral, a famous landmark.
