Start around noon to Blenheim, the largest wine region in New Zealand. Especially the Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonay and Riesling are grown here. Stop in Havelock, the capital of the Green Shell Mussel, in a very nice cafe. Arrival in Blenheim around 4:00 p.m. When entering Blenheim, we stop at a beer garden, according to German model: Schweinshaxe $25, beer $13 (about €9).

The city has 28,000 inhabitants and is surrounded by mountains, whose meadows seem dried out. Strolling through Blenheim and then driving to Pollard Park. Huge area, full of flowers and blooming beds. In our country, this would be a state horticultural show. A very beautifully designed stream meanders through the park. Playground and BBQ are also included. We grill fish and then drive to the FCP in the city center (on the large parking lot).
