Yesterday was Aras last full Saturday in Ireland, so we went to Cork one last time. When we arrived, a woman approached us and asked if we wanted free hot chocolate and snacks. She was part of a charity program called 'Light up Cork' for people with disabilities. Of course, we said yes and grabbed some snacks and hot chocolate. We sat down on the benches, where there were two singers performing. They said we could request a song for them to sing. Well... my friend forced me to participate. I didn't want to at first, but I agreed. We sang 'Count on Me' by Bruno Mars. It was such a nice experience and I wasn't embarrassed at all, except that we didn't know the lyrics very well and had to read them. At one point, we didn't know how to continue 😂 but I would do it again anytime. In the end, Ara and Lucy joined us and we all sang together. I would definitely do it again. After that, we walked around the city and had lunch at Scoozis because Ara wanted to go there. Stephanie always told us about it. We didn't go to school on Monday because Ara wanted to see Limerick, but 🤫. It was a beautiful day and I can't believe Ara is flying home in 3 days. Today, after school, we went to a restaurant where we always go on Wednesdays after school. After eating, we walked to Emma's house, but we didn't have time to go inside because Maya's host mom was there to pick us up. And it's freezing cold here.
Best regards, Pia
