Hello everyone,
during breakfast yesterday, we planned an exploration tour that includes all the interesting attractions in Malacca. Under blue sky and bright sunshine, we first visited the Stadthuys and the Christ Church. Then we went up a hill to the St. Pauls Church and the former fortress A Famosa, where a festival and numerous market stalls decorated the street. After a short visit to McDonald's, we walked through various market halls to the river, where we took a boat tour and explored other parts of the city. Of course, the Chinese Cheng Hoon Teng Temple was not to be missed. In the evening, after a long walk, we visited the Malacca Straits Mosque and then took a taxi back to the city center. On the famous Jonker Street with its night market, we bought many small things after having a pizza by the river. Overall, we found Melaka to be a vibrant and colorful city that is definitely worth a visit. Today, we took a bus to Kuala Lumpur where we have already moved into our apartment on the 25th floor with a view of the metropolis. We are excited to see what we can experience here and will tell you about it soon.
See you then,
Malia
