01.10.2018:

At 10 o'clock, after 3.5 hours of sleep, Marwin woke me up. We had to check out at 11 o'clock. Quickly had breakfast and finished packing. Check-out on time. Now we actually had time here at the hostel until the evening.

The blog entries of the last three days were now up to date. It was pouring buckets outside. There was nothing else to do but chill in the hostel. I spent the whole day there, the other guys got the train tickets for the evening, the girls went to eat something. In the evening, they brought food for everyone. We had a good time on the terrace.

At about 7:30 p.m. we set off. There was always a tuk-tuk in front of the hostel, the driver always called from his balcony. For €0.50 per person, we comfortably traveled 2.5 km to the train station. Here we had to wait for another 3 hours, we stocked up on drinks and sweets from the nearest supermarket. There was a man with a cut on the platform. The locals didn't care. Marwin is a paramedic by profession and took on the task of treating the man. Finally, the train arrived at 11:40 p.m. and we boarded. Now we were heading to Chiang Mai, a city in northern Thailand.
