It's getting hot!

We took the van from Chiang Mai to Pai (3 hours on winding mountain roads). At noon, I went to the local market with a German guy, where we met two German girls and had a nice chat. I asked one of them about her job in event management, which sounded very interesting as it involves various fields. They organize events for clients, such as BMW, where guests at a hotel can test drive cars at a booth, similar to trade fairs. This requires contacting service providers and keeping track of the budget. Many areas that interest me, so it could be a job alternative in Germany.

The next day, we rode the scooter to the bamboo bridges, which were less impressive this time due to the dry season. The first time I went there, the rice fields were beautifully green during the rainy season. A bit disappointing. Afterward, I got a minor foot injury at the waterfall because I underestimated the depth. At the 'Landsplit', a hill with many cracks formed by water floods, there was a small shop selling hibiscus flower juice, jam, and dried bananas. We bought some as an ideal gift for home. In the evening, we went to Pai Canyon.

The next morning, we visited the Longneck Women Village. It wasn't as spectacular as expected. There were a few market stalls where the women sold things. There was also an entrance fee at the beginning. Firat, the person I was with, bought something, and we took pictures with one of the women. However, his phone got stolen, so all the pictures are gone now.

The following two days were spent by the pool, but I also managed to do some sports once.

Then we returned to Chiang Mai. I wanted to do a Segway tour, but it was canceled via email. They couldn't do it the next day either; they only had one Segway. Why is this offer still online then? So I found another provider. I was the only one who booked and got a private tour of the city. We even skipped a few temples because I was more interested in the ride. Also, we rode a bit longer than planned :). Overall, a great experience! We went to the swimming pool in the afternoon. It was a fantastic day!
