New Zealand - Day 8 - Hobbiton + Drive to Rotorua

A short walk was on the morning program to wake up. It led through the forest past various caves.
Excitement grew as we finally approached Hobbiton, the film set of 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit', the home of Frodo and Bilbo. The tour covered the entire area (Sam's house, Bilbo's house, the mill, Green Dragon, etc.).
Mega mega mega awesome!!!!!
After the tour, we headed to Rotorua, a nice town on a lake. We walked along the coast and found geothermal areas in the form of mud pools at several spots.
