During the remaining three days in Karratha, Stuart wanted to refill on food while we book our trip ahead, because until now, no Koalas around.
As just reading, looking up information and booking was by far too boring for us, we at first gave Stuart some pancakes with chocolate cream before heading off to the Miaree Pool. The pool was described as a nice swimming pool with a bit of beach and a car park with facilities. Well, there was a tiny bit of dirt, where you can walk into the water, but no real beach and the water didn´t look very clear either. But we discovered a new wildflower growing and blossoming just next to the lake.
Another day we drove to the Karratha Searipple Lookout for some views on the sea and the mangroves. It is a nice lookout to relax and enjoy the views, but no swimming beach.
On the last day, Stuart celebrated with pancakes and the Moontide Gin, that we had organised the ongoing travels at least until Perth and also already sorted our accommodation in Sydney for the times around New Years Eve.
