Golden Gate Tour

So today is my last 'proper' day in the USA.

I wanted to finish it with one of my favorite hobbies.

A little bike ride.

The rental had good bikes, the weather was perfect, and my legs were feeling 'good'.

Off we go along the piers up to the Golden Gate Bridge.

It's really cool to ride onto this structure. Looking to one side: Pacific, looking to the other side: San Francisco Bay. Fantastic!

I'll just follow the bike path and ride past the entire bay.

Wonderful impressions and the further I go, the less traffic and tourists there are. I'm almost alone in the hinterland of the Golden Gate Bridge.

At some point, somewhere behind Tiburon, I turn around and ride back.

In the afternoon, crossing the bridge is of course very popular.

Biking is possible, but you have to be very careful... It was quieter in the morning.

After a 5-hour tour, I return to Fisherman's Wharf, tired but happy.

There couldn't have been a better conclusion to my US tour. Perfect.

In the evening, I have a good burger and good beer once again.

Speaking of which, all the beers in the USA. 👍👍

Tomorrow it's time to go back. The flight is at 3 p.m. Let's see if there's still something to do, definitely breakfast at Lori's Diner.
