Tokyo Tag 1-3

before i start i want to say a few words about the trip.

we booked the campervan a long time in advance. there are only a few rental places which speak english. because we wanted 2 campers we rented via https://japanrv-rental.com.

make sure there is an english GPS navigator in the camper for you. the easiest way to find your destination is to use phone number search as you must have some japanese language skill to input an address (which we dont have... haha). unfortunately our GPS was not up to date and some new roads were not in :-(

all 4 of us have japanese encephalitis and hepatitis a and b.

after the first challenge of packing for our family of 4 for 4.5 weeks we arrived in tokyo. family pregler, who got there a day earlier, welcomed us already.

we stayed 2 nights in tokyo. to get an overview of the city we got on one of those hop on hop off bus tours. kids absolutely loved it. this way we got to see many things in just 2 days.

after 3 years in china... people are so polite and apologize and give you lots of space. that is totally new to us!
