We start from Dunedin on the east coast back inland, rain! It's only drizzling right now, and since the forecast looks good, we're going without rain gear. Unfortunately, it starts to rain more along the way and the rain jacket is necessary, but that's not so bad, the temperatures are 19-20 degrees, at least.
After the first stop, we finally head inland and the rain stops, opening up endless valleys with amazing views, although today there are clouds, but it looks awesome. After every turn or hill, the landscape seems to expand even more and puts a smile under the helmet with the chin dropping slightly to the ground ;)
Since it's less than 250km today, we take our time and stop at numerous small cafes for GingerBeer, Cola, tea, scones, or sandwiches.
In the end, we arrive at Lake Duncan, only 20km long, accommodation as usual was excellently chosen by Mrs. Booking ;)
With a grill plate in the end, despite the rain in the morning, it was a perfect day.
