Today it was time to pack our bags again and head to the next destination. Before we continued on, however, we drove to Lake Annette. At 10 a.m. the parking lot was still quite empty. We were at the lake, but it was too cold for us to swim. But it was OK for our feet. We enjoyed the sun and the girls built a sandcastle. The beach quickly filled up with SUP paddlers, bathers, etc. After 2 hours we walked around the lake and enjoyed different perspectives. When we drove back, the parking lot was packed....
Then it was goodbye Alberta and welcome to British Columbia and we gained 1 hour of time:-)
We passed the Mont Robson Visitor Center and made a spontaneous stop with a great view of the mountain. After a short walk and some delicious ice cream, we continued on to Clearwater.
In Clearwater we are in the Quality Inn, room 222 (another lucky number). The girls started playing while I started the washing machine in the pool area. Since the girls couldn't stop playing, we didn't get any food in the restaurant and all the shops closed at 8 p.m. :-( Luckily we found Subways and they were still open - dinner secured ;-)
Only the tumble dryer kept breaking down. In the end, hotel employee Samantha put our laundry in the house service dryer - it was also cool to see how it was spun around in the huge dryer... in the end everything was dry :-)
