Rainy season

There are still 2 more sights on the program: the pretty town with Inca ruins Pisac and the salt terraces of Maras. Unfortunately, both are currently not accessible due to heavy rains. The road to Pisac is closed, already on the access roads we see people pushing aside mud masses and cleaning their houses, which are located near the Urubamba River. In Cuzco, we got away with a few showers. The pretty white shiny salt terraces are so flooded that there isn't much white to be seen. So on our way back, we take a few more impressions and are really looking forward to the highlight Machu Picchu, we already caught a glimpse of our train 😃. It was a nice and long day with Carlos, who truly deserved his money.
